***Breaking News** Robbery suspects tracked to Norwalk home

Deputies are currently in the 11400 block of Fairford Ave in the City of Norwalk and have surrounded a home where a vehicle that was used earlier this afternoon in an armed robbery at the La Mirada Home Depot was found parked.

A nSHeriff's copter is overhead making loudspeaker announcement for the occupants of the home near Studebaker Rd and Firestone Blvd. to exit.

Earlier today the man robbed the store in the 12300 block of La Mirada Blvd. at about 3:15 p.m. while waving a knife at an employee in a threatening manner.

The man fled the location in a Honda driven by a second suspect.

Not finding the car at the address it was registered at in Santa Fe springs a detective doing some quick work uncovered information that led them to the home in Norwalk.

Updated   5:00 p.m.
(see below)

La Mirada-  Local deputies were sent scrambling Monday evening after deputies from Orange County at a family disturbance inside at a home became involved in a brawl putting out a call for help.

Multiple Sheriff's patrol units from La Mirada and South Whittier responded to the emergency call for help 8100 block of Barrington Lane at 9:39 p.m.

Two Orange County deputies and a suspect were injured in the melee that was quickly brought under control when Norwalk Station deputies arrived en masse followed by officers from Buena Park and La Habra.

The extent of the injuries is unknown. Paramedics were called to the scene.

The incident occurred in a small pocket of unincorporated Orange County behind the Rose Beach Apartments between the Coyote Creek and east of Stanton Av and receives police services from the Orange County Sheriff's Department.

La Mirada deputies respond regularly to urgent and emergency calls in the area to restore order until Orange County deputies can arrive and can take over.  OCSD usually will have an extended response time with their closest patrol area having full-time coverage being West Anaheim and Stanton.

**Updated 7:00 a.m.**

An Orange County Sheriff's Department spokesperson confirms both of the injured in last night confrontation were hospitalized with moderate injuries as well as the suspect a man in his 30's.  La Mirada Newsbeat does not identify suspects involved in incidents such as this.

La Mirada NewsBeat has learned that deputies responded to the home on Barrington Lane last Wednesday evening (July 10) to quell a family disturbance.

After the July 10th encounter, the parents of the man that fought with deputies last night went to court to have a judge issue a restraining order naming the son.

Then last night one of the parents phoned 911 stating there was another disturbance involving their son who resides at the residence and they wanted assistance with serving the son with the stay-away order.

The son confronted deputies when they arrived and a fight broke out that resulted in the officer needs help call to be sent out to deputies from Norwalk Station at 9:39 p.m.

It's unclear what charges will result from the incident.

**Update Tues 5 PM**

The two injured Orange County deputies have been treated for their injuries and sent home according to an OC Register report.

OCSD is obviously going to go at this guy hard via the District Attorney's Office as demonstrated by their Crime Lab still processing the crime scene well after sunrise this morning
