More than 50 campaigns signs for council candidate Ed Eng stolen overnight

La Mirada- More than 50 campaign signs belonging to La Mirada Councilmember Ed Eng were stolen overnight late Sunday or early Monday morning from main arterials in the east part of the city including from Hillsborough Dr, Rosecrans Av., Santa Gertrudes Av. and more.  Signs also were stolen from residents that agreed to have the sign placed at their homes.

Eng is running in the District #3 contest for a second term against opponent John Accornero.

Residents with Ring and other home security video systems are asked to check their recordings for any criminal activity or suspicious vehicles lurking in the area.

  1. So sad. I don't know if this was a similar problem but my mother-in-law lives in Montclair and volunteers of opposing sides took signs down from her house. I caught them and called the PD. Hope this isn't the case but just a thought.
