Incumbent Jesse Urquidi, the current vice president of the NLMUSD school board is in danger of losing his reelection bid for a second term to challenger Jose Rios who now has a razor thin lead of 34 votes.
Rios, a realtor from Norwalk saw his lead widen on Friday after overtaking Urquidi earlier in the week by just four votes.
The next results update will be released on late Tuesday afternoon.
